Untie the truths that I hold dear to my heart,
The sandy beach,
the summer’s breeze,
the water rippling between our feet,
magnified by the sprinkle of the world’s tears.
Its joy to the beauty that it was witnessing that starless night.
Hand and hand,
side by side,
This is only my dreams delight.
Shadowed words
faceless hopes
unraveling paths
with the whispering grass.
Fall beckons me now,
the leaves turn to gold and fire red.
As the summer flame burnt out.
All that’s left are the memories,
as they haunt me in my dreams.
Was it what you wanted?
To have me torn at the seams.
Black is my color of choice now,
only to match my black heart.
The only question that remains is
will
it
go
back
to the love that it had in the start?

Tranquility interrupted by a jealous mind, life overcome by the grief of the ending, celebratory drinks for a lost occasion, a mind full of black, the tainted, dirty white.
